What exactly consumes Sparks?

Does every operation cost 30 or 20 Sparks?
No. Those are launch estimates for a typical operation. Lit Factory determines the work class and shows the actual whole-Spark quote before every non-standard operation.
What happens when an operation fails?
The reserved Sparks are released. Provider failures, internal failures, timeouts, cancellations, automatic retries, and nested internal model calls do not create extra charges.
What rolls over?
Your introductory 1,000 Spark credits do not expire. Up to 2X Spark credits roll over from paid allowances.
